Who says that disabled people can’t enjoy swimming in a pool? The federal mandate was passed regarding public pools and their requirement to meet the American Disabilities Act. The passed mandate will require over the next 18 months that all public bodies of water to become American disabilities act compliant which means that most commercial pools will need pool disability access lifts. It is good to know that disabled person together with the ones who are not can enjoy swimming in pools together.
